If you know me you know I’m a die hard ItCosmetics CC cream (shade fair in winter + light in summer) bitch. I have raved about that cc cream for years now, but it was time for a change it was time I tried something new! I went in Sephora wanting the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Foundation, and walked out with the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation.
+ here are my thoughts
- The foundation is super lightweight. I don’t want to feel like I’m wearing makeup on day to day basis.
- Light to medium coverage. It looks like your natural skin… but better! If I need more coverage over a pimple or something I conceal the spot before putting on foundation.
- Since it’s lighter coverage I can get away wearing it when I get my summer tan!
- My skin feels hydrated all day. This is one of the claims of this foundation that I was skeptical about, I have dry skin and when foundations claim to be hydrating they dry up and start clinging to dry patches.
- It’s the right amount of glow. you don’t look greasy you look healthy and fresh!
- SPF 15!
- IT LAST LIKE ALL DAY. this is huge for me! my ItCosmetics CC cream seemed to break up on my nose after a while- light wonder does not. I wore it at the lake all day for a couple of days and at the beach for 2 days when I got home I went to go touch up for dinner and didn’t even need to my face still looked fresh!
- It works well with my new favorite primer and existing makeup routine!
